I travelled to the wonderful and enchanting northeast corner of our country with my family and relatives. I am extremely glad to share that my experience had been equally amazing. Mr. Ashis from Magic Moments helped us to come up with a custom itinerary that covered the places we were interested in and also answered all of our queries patiently. Right from the selection of cars, to the well informed drivers, the range of hotels chosen, the entire trip was smoot and hassle free, a perfect family holiday. It was really bang for the buck.

While researching about Sikkim I happened to notice the posts of Ashish in various forums and contacted him for insights into the Sikkim trip. He helped me plan my itinerary and I chose to have him arrange my trip for me.
Iam not the person who goes on trip put together by an agent but in this case Ashish did not give me the feeling of being an agent. He understood what I was looking for and put together this thing for me. He also ensured by calling or messaging everyday to see if things were as per schedule or if I needed help any other way.

The experience was fantastic despite me & my sister not being prepared with winter clothing.
We were expecting temperature of 17 to 21 degrees but it turned out to be approx. 4 or 5 in Gangtok & -2 in Lachung! 😬 But we managed.

The journey & destinations were incredibly spectacular despite the long & bumpy drive.

View along the journey was mind blowing – literally Switzerland of India… Snow capped mountains, fauna & flora, yaks, local villages & most importantly the people & their strong commitment to preserve the environment. The hotels were simple, clean & with very good hospitality, especially Mintokling.

Thanks to Ashis for being such a great advisor. He made detailed arrangements catering to requirements. Was in touch with us every now & then to ensure everything was alright.

Our guide & driver in Sikkim (Awishkar & Jigmey) were two very knowledgeable simpletons with good sense of humour….
They were such wonderful host & so very helpful throughout the journey. I was hit by altitude sickness along the way to Yumthang Valley. Awishkar & Jigmey were so helpful & ensured I got down to snap some photos at least. They didn’t want me to miss the view.😂
We also discovered Awishkar is a great photographer.

Darjeeling was okay but nowhere near Yumthang Valley, of course. On our way to Mirik it rained heavily. On our way back, the view was simply breathtaking!
Pine forest on both sides of the road, after rain…. no words to describe the beauty.

The driver (Chandan) was very informative & helpful. The hotel was near the Chowrasta Mall. We explored the upper, middle & lower market by foot. Made some good bargains too!

Overall, it was a wonderful experience & our sincere thanks to Ashis Roy & his team (Awishkar, Jigmey & Chandan). Strongly recommend Magic Moments services – end to end support!

It was adventure; it was culture, geology, wild life, food, history, serenity! The Himalayan Mountains in Ladakh are mesmerizing!

My husband and I planned our 2 week road trip to Ladakh for the end of Sept to coincide with the famous Ladakh Festivals. But things changed and we pushed our trip back 2 weeks starting Oct 3rd.

We were concerned about weather, facilities, road safety and high altitudes and of course we needed Ashis to compile a new itinerary.

Ashis customized our itinerary; it included all the best valleys and regions, monasteries, forts and more. He and his team are flexible and very knowledgeable in every aspect of Ladakh. We were very impressed with the service and response time to our every request.

Our driver Stanzin Nangsal deserves a call out. We never had a moment of doubt or worry about our safety his skill and complete control of our vehicle in difficult terrain and weather was masterful.

Our trip was trouble free and is up there as one of our best. Maybe someday we will return to see Tso Moriri which was closed for the season.

Great end-to-end experience for the trip – Thanks to the Magic moments

It was a great overall experience working with Magic Moments for our recently concluded Sikkim Vacation Trip. Mr. Ashish of Magic Moments really took care of all the details. He was approachable, responsive and available before and during our trip. He understood our requirements and came up with an itinerary to suit the needs. He partnered with us to come up with suggestions on what to see, cover during the trip etc.

As per the plan, we reached Bagdogra airport on time. Their driver was waiting at the airport for us and we started off to go to Gangtok. On the way, we had breakfast in Siliguri and it wasn’t great. This is something Magic moments can work on identifying good local restaurants and share it with the customers.

On the way to the Gangtok, driver was friendly and accommodative to let us spend time at the rafting area. That was the second best experiences of the trip. Enjoyed the rafting. After completing the rafting, went to Gangtok and reached by evening there. Hotel at Gangtok was nice guest house with big rooms with all the amenities. Best of all, nice view of the Himalayan mountains.

We had two night stay at Gangtok, one night at Lachung and back to Gangtok for another two nights. Visited Changu lake & Baba mandir on the day2. Decent snow on the mountains and along the way. Sikkim weather changes by the minute literally and it is very interesting to see.

Hotels provided by the Magic Moments are good and more family style guest houses. Gangtok hotel has direct view of the Kanchenjunga peak from the room itself. It is up to our luck whether we get a chance to see it or not. We were fortunate to see it on the final day of our trip. Taxi driver was very friendly and patient to honor our minor requests along the way.

We had the peace of mind that we are with a trusted hands and not worrying about getting cheated. Very glad that entire trip went smoothly and thanks again to the Magic Moments planning & execution.

We have gone for the Amritsar, Dharamshala, Dalhousie family trip of 4 people from Chennai, the trip was organized by Magic Moments, demagicmoments.com Ashis Roy’s team arranged travel and hotel booking and site seeing for us. We had a wonderful time. The driver received us at Amritsar Airport, a nice, clean Innova car, a humble driver, he took us to a nice dhaba, and hotel. Visited the golden temple a couple of times. Hotel rooms are arranged as interconnected in all the places, very nice, next day we went to wagha border event and next day drove to Dharamsala, the best hotel in town with nice valley views, Visited Tibet temple and site seeing, next day we traveled to Dalhousie, all our plan was not working due to severe snow Strom and ice rain, we were not able to go to Khajjar..returned back to Amritsar on time for the return flight. Had a memorable trip, Thanks to Ashis and team
